From Mom: Today Madeline and I had a "girls' day." Daddy was on campus studying all day. So, Maddie and I cleaned the kitchen, prepared dinner, baked cookies and then sat and watched movies while they were in the oven. We watched the first half of "Annie" (which was one of my favorites as a little girl) and then "Enchanted" about princesses. When Madeline saw one of the characters cry she asked me "Why?" When I explained, she again asked "Why?" Oh wow! It was the very first series of "Why" questions!
