From Teacher Angela: Madeline "peeled" her banana slice all by herself today. She kind of squeezed it until the peel pulled part-way off, then she opened the rounded circle so it was a ling between her hands. From there she at the banana off the peel. On the playground Maddie asked for "help" (saying "hewp" and making the modified ASL sign for "help") to get in the swing.
From Mom: Today was the holiday party at Madeline's school. We made a snowman collage and danced together to live holiday music on the guitar. It was fun to watch her play with the other children. Her teachers tell me that while she's still in the "dumping" and "pouring" stage of playing, the "doll stage" is just around the corner. I can hardly wait! Later on at home, our neighbor (who is pregnant) came over for a visit. We talked about the baby in her "tummy." Then later, as we were going to bed, Madeline "nursed" her stuffed tiger making little milk sucking noises. So sweet!
