From Mom: With the last snow storm more than a week behind us, the weather seems to finally have turned ... for the better! The sun shown all day and the temp was a glorious 65F! We even enjoyed a picnic in the yard last night - complete with a show. We live in the center of songbird habitat. Madeline and I hung a number of feeders outside the dining room window and have been cultivating a relationship with our feathered neighbors. In addition to the finches, cardinals, robins, and blue jays, now a pair of ducks have added our yard to their evening rounds of the neighborhood. Everyone in the house (two-legged humans and four-legged felines alike) enjoy watching the resident birds, squirrels, and chipmunks.
